All of us

All of us are indigenous of somewhere
But the indigenous are looked upon today
As second class or even third class citizens
They thirst for independence in a way
Others who just live where they have always lived
And have not been seen as savages lets say
Who speak a different language who live a different set of rules
Who were the very first people their way

Different but no worse than those inhabiting
The places where once the indigenous only were
They were the guardians of the actual planet
They cared they shared and they fared and did prefer
To live much closer to the planets fabric
Pollution not their way as we concur
Those people took the land and carved their message
Worked the trees and stubble into calm
They grew their crops and made the country safer
And people came along and were free from harm
Progress took a hold and glass and concreteTook over from the animal skins and bark
But land that belong to those who had first lived there
Was stolen from them as we made our mark

Pollution was our gift that we returned to them
Every waterway and field all were
Polluted with the industry of commerce
And now we look around and dare infer
That their land is now our land though we stole it and we knew
The pristine fertile areas now were very few
indian land or aboriginals Land as it is known
Was stolen by our people and the indigenous were thrown
Off the land into the reservations where they had
To make home that was what we felt which in every way was sad

And now it is no better we still achieve the bad
Mining on their fertile plains uranium its sad
To see the tribes of the innocent suffering as they do
They struggled long and hard they did and we were far from true
we stole their land we maimed them we sank our talons deep
We built incineration and poisoned them whilst they sleep
Uranium on their lands tailings everywhere
The indigenous we murder them and we tell ourselves its fair
We all now come from somewhere and we all should realise
That stealing land from our brothers and our sisters in the guise
Of it is ours already and they should be ashamed
Is karmically an outrage and they shall not be blamed
