Sea world unfurled

Now we hear despite the news
That blackfish has tightened the screws
And Sea World has been feeling pain
But still feel there is much to gain
From keeping the cetacean mob
In tanks and allowing me to sob
My heart out really feeling they
Are suffering terribly every day

The corporation viewpoint here
Is to give the public instant cheer
From watching labouring orca’s cry
And knowing deep inside they die
Their habitat has been shot away
No life force anywhere today
A wretched tank no life to see
No animals no plants how can that be
Considered natural in any way
Its arrogance that makes them pay

That hoodwinks the public
And makes them feel
That this blue tank
Is really real
Its blue the sea is blue haha
And the orca’s are mAde to be the star
Its a sad old world we live on today
When we take advantage of wild souls
They
Are ripped from their families
And made to act
Loners sad souls who react
Inside themselves their feelings sore
They get drugged up with stuff galore
They are bored to death by the wretched size
Of these sterile tanks and of course the lies

Now we hear they are changing stuff
The public it seems have seen enough
They want the souls to be sent back home
To the sea again and by now a tome
Has been written about it so to say
There are changes afoot
Out in the bay

But in reality not a lot
No real big money
In the pot
A change of emphasis it appears
To teaching to knowledge
It seems their fears
Are coming home to roost at last
Attendances dropping and dropping fast
Blackfish made a difference to
The balance sheet and the margins do

Explain the jumpiness across the board
Activisim is one huge sword
Carving through the sea world gate
Really at an enormous rate
We have to keep the momentum strong
We have to educate there is nothing wrong
Sign petitions go along
Make the protest good and strong

Poems every which way they
Settle here and people pay
Attention to them write some songs
Show people where each soul belongs
Not an artificial world
Where innocent wild souls have been hurled
This is not where these souls should be
But wild and swimming out in the sea
