One friend is Broome in Australia
They are twinned now with Taiji
Despite the dolphin slaughter
Despite now how it be
The cove that won an oscar
Showed the world their sin
How they ravage how they savage
When September does begin

Whole pods are then driven
For selection to take place
Whole families are slaughtered
Its a complete disgrace
Some are then sold on
Into captivity to be
Slaves to corporations
Cash cows instantly

Broome I look at you
And I am dumfounded
Someones lying
Someone doesn’t care
You are drawing down the evil
Consenting to the killing
Tell me Broome your morality is where

Surely you are duty bound
To stop this
Its utter carnage

Are slaughtering and murdering
These dolphins
Its very hard for them to get away

Perhaps we have to boycott Broome
Don’t buy your pearls
Let them know how upset we all are
If it starts to hit them in their pocket
That might wake them up
For they are far

Up themselves and cannot see the writing
On the proverbial wall for it is there
The world is getting fed up with their arrogance
And their cruelty which is causing much despair

The embassies can tell you its upsetting
And its growing crowds are coming
They are aware

I call on Broome to wake up from their slumber
Listen to the people when they cry
Getting close to Taiji and the slaughter
Is poor judgement and it seems to underlie
Its best you think it through and ask the people
Do they want to align themselves in this way
With pariahs killing dolphins who happen passed their shore
Because if they do commercially they will pay
