The project has been working hard
At rescuing some dogs
From laboratories around the country
Its seems cosmetic trogs

Believe that the beagles are perfect

To be experimented on
So good natured and so hardy
And when they are gone they are gone
Its easy just to breed some more
This a vile idea
Farming dogs for vivisection
Can the public hear

This is clearly happening
The various states allow
Corporate animal cruelty
Although I ask them how
How can it be compassionate
To torture dogs like these
They are pedigree they should be free
Not caged up if you please

To be inflicted on them
Every single day
Raised and shipped to slaughter
How can that be okay
In Britain your corporations
Are to open up a place
A great big new facility
We see it as a disgrace
The local council turned it down
But the government did agree
Of course its alright to torture dogs
That makes good money

Farm them till they are big enough
Then Send them off to Hell
So its just good to hear
Of the BFP who does its job so well
38 beagles rescued from these
Cages around the states
Look at them free on the green grass they be
With all of their great Beagle traits

Big doleful eyes
What a surprise
To see them
Out of a cage
They have never had grass under their feet
So it must be hard to gauge
Never been outdoors
Have not interacted
Never played ball not at all
Nor had their own bed
And they may have been dead
If they had been left there alone

But the activist group
Made their evening swoop
On several facilities and
Scooped up these babies
And saved them
How many of you understand

That Britain is now farming Beagles
Beautiful dogs will be killed
Shipped now from England
To laboratories
And their sweet blood will be spilled
How sick we are earning our money
From corporations that do ply
Healthy dogs for vivisection
It does folks it just makes me cry

near HULL it will happen
If I lived there i would be sad
Local democracy knocked off the map
Government said its not bad
Its just what we want

Employing people and doing things right
