Rosemarie passed by this way today
In her soft and her most gentlest of way
She Left her little home in Tring for to go
To a place where some of us probably know
A responsive emotional soul was she
Loving and kind and so very friendly
Caring and earnest in all she did do
With a lively vivacity that just shone through
She possessed so much joy in the simplest of ways
Her garden her flowers and the home where she stays
The peace and the quiet she did love the calm
Her character sunny with masses of charm
In 8 splendid decades she blossomed and was
A wonderful lady and that was because
She had a good heart and she so really cared
For the ones that she loved where nothing was spared
She had her share of grief where she cried In Her sleep
Her dear sons passing that really went deep
But she took the sadness and didn’t complain
For she was a wonderful women and again
She was supportive of others around
Emotionally strong well that’s what I found
An affectionate soul well mannered and sweet
With much self-reliance was how she could compete
With anything negative she had a way
Of turning things around the very next day
That was a confidence that was her strength
Maybe inside of her it took a length
Of her time, to build up but that’s what she did
She showed such goodwill and was able to rid
Herself of the sadness that from time to time
Reared its sweet head and wanted to climb
Into her emotions but she could withdraw
With her graciousness really and then just ignore
And she had her Donald for forty good years
Everyday of that journey the laughter the tears
They faced life together and both saw it through
They both loved each other as real lovers do
Rosemarie left us today, she in Tring
Took to the ground as the angels did sing
She closed her sweet eyes and she took her last breath
With one special smile she welcomed her death
She lies in repose her gentle intent
Now that her body was well rather spent
All her devotion to life put behind
Smitten with all of it she could unwind
Her duty was over she now Honour bound
Was respected and loved lowered into the ground
She will be remembered by those who she knew
As a wonderful lady both Loving and true.
