Tally Ho off you go

So another bandwagon you’ve jumped on
Today
Hunting with dogs
The repeal on the way
The toffs are aware that some eighty per cent
Of Britain is against it
And would be content
To see it continue to gather
The dust
I for one know that that bill it
Was just

The so called alliance of farmers
And others
Yokels and brothers and sisters and mothers
The worst intentions are
Hunting the wild
Foxes and hares and deers
Every child
Within those with empathy
Values our friends
The wild boys and girls
And your message here sends
A spitefulness forward deep into the night
That killing wild animals it is alright

Being dug out of the earth by the terrier men
And watching your cubs torn to bits
In their den
Brings tears to my eyes
Makes me sick just to say
How can anyone honestly thinks that’s okay
To dress up in red and get on a mare
And run with ones hounds
The wild souls to scare
These are family members kill one and we know
The rest of the family
Will mourn and will go

Don’t talk to me about countryside things
The agony this bloody bill really brings
To the heart of the people the eighty per cent
Who hate killing wild folk because it’s not meant

Ripping a fox apart
Blood-thirstiness
Chasing a Hare down.
All of that stress
Doing the same to a beautiful deer
Is as sick as it gets
Can you lot hear

It’s bitchy and cussed it’s baleful and sad
That a people would ever want to be this bad
Chase innocent earthlings and slaughter them where
They were born to be living proves you do not care
They each are miracles in their own right
Can any hunter create one the fight
To save all our wild ones to protect them is on
And repealing this act shows me some are far gone
Caring nothing for animals
So so inhumane
Grim – faced and hard hearted becoming a stain
On society honestly
That’s what you are
A pitiless bunch all can see from afar
Your intolerance is too much to behold
That pound of flesh is the work of the cold
The unsympathetic,the callous those who
Want to hunt with the hounds and do what they do

So much un thankfulness for all creation
No obligation to care for the nation
Unmindful ungrateful for the wild ones salvation
Condoning such ugliness and such predation
It’s totally wrong, rotten to the core
A miscarriage of justice akin to a war
So prejudicial this unlawfulness
Unseemly and improper to cause so much stress
We have a duty to our children too
To protect the wild animals
All our lives through
Give them our admiration
Look at them with awe
Not humiliate them
But truly adore

Our countryside needs
The wild animal stock
They make a difference
They are the rock
That protects each and every inch
Of the earth
For they are the ones
Who know it’s true worth

They don’t live in concrete
They don’t burn the coal
They live by their wits
They are really all soul
We can learn so so much from them
That why I say
Fox hunting is yes passed it sell by date
And they

Are not fit for purpose
Not anymore
That’s why this country
Has passed the law

It has been flouted
Throughout the years
Arrests have been made
And lots of tears
Have fallen from those of us
Who know the score
We must never ever
Repeal this sick law
