They think we are out to get them

Despite what the world body says

Japan will see it through

they think we are out to get them

and they do know what to do

the whale is their delightful food

and they will come what may

go out and just catch

them whatever people say

no amount of intimidation

will get them off their course

they have no hesitation

nobody can force

them out of killing whales to eat

nobody at all

they are always on the defensive

and will answer the call

they speak of other nations

and why they kill to eat

cows and pigs and sheep and so forth

it just does unseat

their  audacious and true mentality

is a dangerous game

wilful and irresponsible

nothing stays the same

such brinkmanship is   testing

the order of their day

uncircumspect and incautious

and unwary all the way

I can’t abide destruction

for this species needs to be

protected from those bastards

to kill the whale at all

the Antarctic is a sanctuary

they are not the food on call

and need their liberty

of a grandiosity

of an animal spectator

who tastes good actually

they brazenly go out of their way

to take whoever on

to fight them on the beaches

to test them till they are gone

to swagger and use puffery

to make their case abroad

with a haughtiness and a cockiness

that many can’t  afford

and so the antagonism

and hatred rumbles on

antipathetic all the way and

belligerent till gone

they just will not admit it

their rancour

seemingly

will push them through whatever

that’s how it has to be

aloofness and unfriendliness

secludes them from the scene

they become the outcasts

in fact they have  always been

and they become abusive

aggressive and so mean

so what can the world now do about it

if the vagabond they be

if they have an odious character

when sailing on the sea

they wants to kill and murder

the great whales everyday

everyone can fuck off

and just go away

they feel heart burning anger

an indignation at our cries

they do feel provacation

they do not realize

they are piqued they are stung

they are spiteful

they want whale meat again

so sullen and forbidding

and under constant strain

harpooning sentient mammals

they see as being right

they can’t abide our bullying

its just all out of sight

threatening and menacing

the angels of the sea

they just don’t have an inkling

of what it means to be

a whale watcher and caring soul

a benevolence about

and enlightened individual

who comes without a doubt

who clearly is unmindful

to how the people are

and wants to go and murder

these animals from afar

of course its wrong its rotten

discriminating they

feel they have the entitlement

to make the great beasts pay

de throne them from their status

which is meritless and wrong

and expropriate their actual power

for they do not belong

they are in our bad books

under a cloud  they be

the world must castigate them

and honestly to see

a rehabilitation

for otherwise we feel

that we will be at loggerheads

every time they steal

a great whale from a sanctuary

and Sea Shepherd will know

the natural world has many faults

but when the great whales go

Japan will be held responsible

and the strong guilt will remain

forever in their psyche

till it all comes around again
