Scottish Circus and wild animals

I don’t beieve the Scottish people

want  to now admit

they allow wild animals to perform

when they are far from fit

its wicked to make animals

do these kind of things

it is only done with torture

and what that of course brings

is terror to those animals

amorality

a viciousness toward them

that should just never be

Scotland must stand

up be counted as a place

that deals in such high morals

not like some in disgrace

were unfair to their elephants

its something all must face

no wild animal anywhere

wants to do these tricks

and its only down to  cruelty

which knocks fairness for six

why would the Scottish people

want to support such a thing

for entertainment purposes

nobody should bring

terror to an animal

no body at all

and circus isn’t the place to keep

these animals

they fall

alas

below the radar

transported from town to town

beaten starved and chained up

they all come from afar

their feet were not mean’t for concrete

their hearts to be chained all day

chimpanzees to be screamed at

and kicked and hit

I’d say

the people would be angry

if circus stays the course

its evil and passed its sell by date

it now needs extra force

to clear them out and stop this

there is no saving grace

circus is anathema

a transgression for a place
