Niger Delta at Rumuekpe Shell oil

Hell has broken out in the Niger delta

Where Shell is taking oil

at such a pace

all the while they are

handing out the money

to buy weapons

which is really a disgrace

this is a troubled land

with so few prophets

it doesn’t stop the profits

though we see

nobody accounting for this

terrible upheaval

and human rights abuses

that there be

someone has to stand up

and be counted

greenpeace does its bit

to make things known

land is being taken over daily

awareness for whats happening

has been shown

across the world

and funds are being offered

but still the people on the ground

can see

Shell is in there

pulling out the profits

which has to be unfair
