Greece exposed another dog story

Greece has got more than its share

of vileness

of owners who think

nothing of their pets

a dog was found resembling a skeleton

whimpering in a trash can

it just sets

the scene

for what was totally abhorrent

imagine that poor soul

just slung away

with rubbish plastic bags

and general clutter

a beating heart

and doleful eyes that say

I do have worth

I am alive and kicking

its true I am but bones

now sadly I

still want to be living in the now

with someone who

loves me

honest I dont want to die

the problem is that Greece

has sunk already

the abyss has opened up

and it is gone

angels still abound

but the people

left around

on them the sun perhaps

has never shone
