You sacrifice angels so demons
can flourish which is unsound thought
for its them that do live in the ocean
in essence their swimming is caught
up in the power struggle coming
lambs to the slaughter it seems
they have their paths which they follow
there’s are the paths to their dreams
the navy is haunting their air space
with sonar that enters their brain
so sensitive to the sheer force of it all
and despite their great size it does drain
their life force and leave them recounting
what could have been now its gone
sonar and explosives the testing of both
the power stuggle goes on and on
and whales angels of the deep ocean
suffer in agony, they
sail into conflict and beach themselves
somewhere
and quietly
they all pass away
mothers and daughters and babies
suffer in silence for we
are deaf to the cries of the angels
for we are their demons you see
