Our brains are purported to be
almost limitless
How little thought
we give now to the whole
The Universe that threatens
to really overwhelm us
On the plains of circumstance
the soul
drifts upward into spirals
of significance
downwards into supersonic stress
Through all those myriad cells
of wasted effort
Could we?
Should we?
Dare we?
expect less
