BLT ( Bear Lion Tiger) and the drug dealer

A drug dealer purchased 3 little souls
“Leo” the Lion “Baloo” the Bear
and “Khan” the Tiger
and all three did share
and enclosure together
they always were there
helping each other
and at times things got bad
for neglect set in fast
which became very sad

eventually Noah’s Ark
a sanctuary came
and took them away
and they did claim
that “Baloo” was so hurt
by his harness that he
needed to have it removed
surgically

clearly it cost him
a great deal of pain
but with it off his body
his spirit did gain
a lot
and the experience did make him see
that with his two fine companions
he wanted to be

each helped each other
buddies they were
suffering equally
it begins to stir
all the emotions
to see wild souls, who
are good friends together
all of them true

enter the federal government
and they
stipulate big cats
are to be housed in a way
that gives 16 foot fences
not 8 feet as they
had been kept together
making, them pay

and the realization
of a splitting the 3
took such a turn
it seemed that no way
could the charity
pay for such a high fence
and the whole matter
got so very intense

but the public weighed in
the supporters were there
they coughed up a lot
and the fencer’s aware
of the great camaraderie
that did exist
discounted the fences
and so did enlist

affairs of the heart
for the 3 lovely souls
who now are together
in their respective roles
friends for life really
who would believe
that a Bear and a Lion and a Tiger
achieve
friendship and lasting
their lifetimes it seems
a story that only takes place
in one’s dreams
