Ferrets

A ferret is an animal with feeling
kick it and it yells just like we do
stroke it and it seems as if it likes it
so why the hell do we hurt it that’s a view
many just don’t think about
they prefer to walk away
they are just not interested
and they just don’t care to say
but they being bred in places
and sold to laboratories
they are being bred in places
and in pet shops you can see
they are really suffering
but they have a place on earth
the great creator made them
so they really do have worth
so why is it that we ignore them
shut our ears to their pain
why do Government bodies
their life’s blood they drain
used for testing vaccines
tortured every day
surgical procedures
and no pain killers a way
that really is so inhumane
they are feeling thinking souls
and need a bit of true respect
for they have love and goals
they care for their families
they have children too
they can love their offspring
which is more than some of us do
so treat them love them care for them
speak up for them
and stop this meanness now
I don’t care who is doing it
they better bloody stop it
and Governments are no better any how
