at a demonstration to tell people
that
dolphins were being killed
where they were at
a silver car drew up
and out came a soul
a dear little kitten
was flung
seems its role
was to deny those people
a reason to be
wasting their time
when look they could free
this little kitten
modus operandi

an excuse for a guy
the kitten hit the pavement
broken forlorn
wishing I am sure
it had never been born
for it died in the arms
of an activist who
had tried to save it
its what people do
but whoever it was
who used this little soul
to make his sick point
was clearly out of control
driving his silver car
off very fast
proud of himself
but his die has been cast

will give him some more
of the treatment he gave to that cat
