This is Onyx. He is a 5 year old owner surrender. He was dumped at the shelter after years of abuse and neglect. He is HW positive and has a huge fear of people. Onyx needs a rescue that specializes in teaching him trust and discipline. Onyx should not be punished because of irresponsible humans. But Onyx only has a matter of days to find a rescue that can rehab him. He has financial sponsors to help with the cost. Onyx is at the Selma Alabama animal shelter. “Oynx” that is my name
I’ve been dumped in this shelter
that’s my claim to fame
my owner wants me out of the way
which means that I must die
But I love my life very much
and I really want to cry
my heart out at their reasons
for doing this to me
I have never ever hurt them
I just cannot agree
that they would ever do this
Alabama is where
I may breathe my last breath
before I sink into complete despair
