Fields ablaze with solar panels
Wild life sacrificed with ease
Olive trees historic values
Torn down trying to appease
The politicians and their madness
Their ignorance is everywhere
Sack the farmers
Kill off wild life
Exchange joy for the new despair
Butterflies and Bees frustrated
Wild bird song will not be heard
Forgotten for the dreams of solar
And of course what has occurred
Life exchanged for death
Apparent
The soil no longer exchanges light
Covered with these artificial
Beacons creating what is blight
That basically can not be right
The olive groves those rich successes
Years of purity no less
Healthy oils balanced out
What true health was all about
Now a desert of soon to be
Disappointment and
travesty
Disenchantment miscalculation
Non-fulfilment foiled creation
Chuffed and left humiliated
Vague suspicions over rated
Masses of disinformation
More a mirage of false oration
Deceitful duped into believing
With exaggeration all achieving
Energy tariffs lower by far
True evidence of where we are
