A regular work day
Atocha station Madrid
Everyone for themselves
In a genuine bid
Bomb after bomb had exploded
And we
Great shards of glass
We shook violently
A great flash and smoke
It’s a bomb on the train
Victims were everywhere
Screaming and pain
Losing control bodies around
Blast after blast
Would I be found
Everything black
A terrorist attack
Suddenly silence
All over the track
Pieces of body
Littered about
Help them die peacefully
Without a doubt
Bones broken limbs stolen
Blood everywhere
So many children who dares to share
The evil terrorists
Clearly that day
They targeted us
And blew us away
It was a Thursday
And Sunday we knew
Was to be the election
That much was true
This was a crime scene
The injured still lay
Another bomb
Someone did say
Explosive devices
We’re left here and there
In other stations
The awful despair
Death is forlorn
So many innocent people
Were torn
Apart they were burned
Some were alive
All missing limbs
When the bombs did arrive
They blew us away
Chopped us to bits
So many destroyed
And those off their wits
The maniac monsters
Who planted dynamite
Knowing the result
All of this wasn’t right
It was horrific hell came test day
So many people had limbs blown away
Terrorist evil heartless they be
Twisted by anger Madrid violently
Broken and sobbing
busted and broke
In each others blood
and sinews we soak
The chaos and panic
Who could it be
Who left these contraptions
Around miserably
The police and the National Guard
Clearly they
Sought who was responsible
On that tragic day
So many dead
So many suffering
So many parents
So many loved ones
191 people were killed
So so so much blood
That day was spilled
Forever tears
Blood being donated
So many died and then the
Elated
the terrorist scum
The murdering louts
Who did what they did
Without any doubts
Bag and catalogue everything
Evidence, they
Found a bomb to deactivate
Which they did anyway
ETA refused liability
Despite being blamed
For this catastrophe
A rumour mill started
Vigils at night
The governments events
Just didn’t read right
The SIM cards they found
Apparently
Where explosives were made
In Leganes mercilessly
Blew themselves up
Jihadists, seemingly.
