Taking a pair of sheep to the lairage

Sheep are very sensitive
They feel bad and they know
When they are going to be slaughtered
Knives sharpened yes on show
Nothing left to chance for them
A frightening prospect they
Have to come to terms with it
What else can I say
Except how bloody cruel it was
