Storm Goretti

Storm Goretti
It’s been named
Amber warnings
Snow fall blamed
Arctic air
A jet stream too
Exceptional winds
May get to you

We have all been frightened
Destructive snow
Multi hazards
As we know
Be weather ready
Stay indoors
How high up you are
And that’s because

The mountains protect us
It’s been still all day
No rain or snow
Not much to show
But still they say
It could be coming
It might be thick
It’s all to do
With arithmetic
