Thousands of Ducks

As children I was taught
The ducks were special
By my parents
On Sunday we would feed the ducks
A lot of families did agree
Wild birds need supplementation
It’s something good to see
And all the while
The Meat Trade
Farms
Imprisons ducks
And yes it harms
These pretty creatures
As we know
Their popularity it doth grow
Kept in cages every day
Crammed in where they have to stay
Murdered blithely heads left on
Eyes wide open
Sight though gone 🦆🪿🦆🪿
