Tessa’s Lamentation

The facts are that Tessa knew always that he
The ruddy faced farmer who laughed constantly
Was counting his shillings knowing that he
Had sold all the turkeys and that she would be
Plucked of her feathers and basted with fat
She wouldn’t see Santa
She knew where she was at
A stint in the oven after her strangulation
As for his karma this vile Turkey farmer
Would end up of course in a wild celebration
a perfectly dreadful yes machination
