Octopus

Octopus seemingly farmed
Now apparently
Adapted to oceans these wonderful souls
Able to use tools
Unlike the fools that
Capture them cook them eat them alive
Numb nuts whose vile guts
Should never survive
So very sensitive creatures
Pain threshold
Seriously low
But humanity
Fails to appreciate their true intelligence
Sentient souls with a wish
To be free
