What a life
imprisoned
in a chlorinated tank
his lady friend
died years ago
the water it was rank
captured back in 92
Mungo Marina was
home to one sad long lost boy
imprisoned there because
Argentina wanted a wild and saddened soul
to show off to the punters
proudly became their role
insensitive and cowardly
cruel to the point of woe
they put him through such terror
his love for her, you know
was gloriously and believably
profound
and when she died
he perished a little every day
his captors though denied
the torture, that they put him through
heartless ignorant sods
left him pining in purgatory
to return to past sea gods
A heart broken soul just mesmerised
By the awful state abroad
a life tragically
wasted
