Sixty years on this land an elephants bloodied eyes tell us a lot

The true red eye
Blooded and saddened
An aged
Who has seen it all
The stench of the hunters
Who think they can ambush
Firing their lead as their rule
Taking out lives of our families
Killing our loved ones each day
The blood in my eyes🐘
