Sea gulls are cleverer than you might think

The highest point

in any place

is the chimney pot

its no disgrace
That observant Gulls

See a look alike

and are sold

On  a sort of watch tower

really good to behold

Where dinner is coming from,

And It’s warmer

to stay

when lighting a fire the householder

,must pay

For potential nests

which must not be scarred

Don’t break the law

nesting must stay

till the chicks have been hatched

and have gone on their way

they have the Right

if you damage a nest

With your freedom you will pay

active nests I dont

jest

Protected as they

will suffer who knows

at the end of the day

will see you in jail

it Happens you pay

And end up in prison

wild birds they can play

They have the right

always you see

before lighting a fire

the nest cannot be

in situ in the chimney

the family must

Having left long before

a facto that’s just.
