who loved us
and helped us achieve
statehood in so many ways
all of us Chimpanzees
found our feet because of you
your studies they did please
you loved us as a great ape race
helped us in many ways
in the forests and savanna’s
your aura kind of plays
earnestly around us
comfortingly we
will miss you for we loved you
