What does a scammer look like

Have you ever met a scammer

on line or anywhere

a soothsayer  a trader

who trades in true despair

promising a fortune

or raiding wallets they

will talk up crypto currency

and hope to take away

any part of your fortune

its really what they do

prey upon the ignorant

they do that yea it’s true

talk up the power of bitcoin

promise they have found

The investment  you partook

and every single pound

has risen in its value

unlike cash in the bank

you have made a fortune

thats when my  old heart sank

my few quid had appreciated

over the long years

and now attracted scammers

and for me  yes yet more tears

Promising  me a fortune

all that had accrued

my advice to you today

don’t ever  listen

to what they say

whatever money you ever invested

is gone

and so

forget it

Today you just must carry on

regretting what a fool you were

but learning

from that experience
