Butchering these wondrous souls
Mothers fathers sisters brothers
Common people take on these roles

Of leaping into the salty sea
The Faroe islanders every one
Chopping off their living heads
This is what these fools have done

They are not hungry
Wild life lives
In the ocean
And it gives
Splendour to the depths below
Murdered sadly in cold blood
