Llyn Cynwch

A largely man made miracle

just an amazing sight

a reservoir whose water

feeds Dolgellau  and the light

reflecting off its surface

like crystals marvellously

a radiance of bounteous wealth

a gleeful entity

an intense and overwhelming sight

its abundant quality

mirroring the wondrous sky

endowed creatively

a reservoir of splendour

much of it will be

providing  sparkling water

For  the town

of Dolgellau

wondrous drinking water

hydration for us all

an intensity of brightness

,lucidly recall

the shimmering reflections

the naked light of day

a palette of distinction

a softness

all the way

the eye can see

each ripple blush and glow

intensely painted magically

with an iridescent flow

and since I drink six glasses

of water everyday

the sweetness of the mountains

is visible they say

and basic cerebration

is improving by the day.
