Leave my wild friends be

O Badgers are extraordinary
In forests around
Creatures of the high setts
Dug out of the ground
Omnivores wild as the wind
Blamed apparently
For sickening a farmers cows
And shot or gassed they be,
Country people some of them
Aristocratic fakes
Hunt our beautiful foxes
And Deers and Hares
It breaks
My heart to see these ignorants
Chase and torture and
Listen to the others
Who then steal our precious land
