Welshpool

Visited the witchy shop

met Andy and james

lots of unique artifacts

a smallish shop that claims

little in the way of things

original pieces there

an atmosphere peculiar

essential oils some rare

herbs and bygone craftsmanship

a quiet contemplative place

in a bustling metropolis

where all manner of people chase

one way streets and car parks crowded

busy cafes there

cramped on chairs

sitting near the road On a busy thoroughfare

sharing cake and vegan pies

with chocolate and lemonade

chatting with Diane an entrepreneur

in vintage clothes  a parade

of lace

and beautiful velvet

a shop just doors away

an 81 year old lovely

with all sorts on display

deliveries  coming and going

blue badges still must pay

high mountains in the distance

a  snarling town quite grey

Appreciatively more people

and shops more in the way

of national chains than emporiums

on what was a busy day.
