Shooting from darkly hides

Our feathered friends
Delight us so
Birds of a feather
Should never go
With the thrust of cordite
The lead of soul
Standing in hides
The cowards we know
Rich of pocket
Heartless fools
Whose blood and guts
Taint Countless pools
