Moelwynion

This evening

just look at the sky

a gorgeous blue

where great rocks lie

the mountain stares back

making me

feel wonderful

just to see

its cliff top gradients

its darker side

Great conifers

from side to side

in the foreground

Dolgellau sits

in the sunlight

thrilled to bits

all that grey stone

all that age

sun kissed  frontages

off the page

grassy fields

shadows roam

eyes bewitched

all from my home

Moelwynion stares back

eyes to eye

centuries before

we can rely

on other folk

who also see

the bounteous mountain
