A lane in Yorkshire

A tranquil cobbled lane
Below a lovely Yorkshire sky
Serenity from years before
I view it with a sigh
In so many ways
Maintaining history like this
Is beautiful to contemplate
Thanks to Maureeen we shan’t miss
A place where dreams are made
