Perchance I met a lady

Perchance I met a lady

on the face of it, that day

Her car had developed problems

inconveniently I’d say

living in an ancient cottage

up a secluded lane

I went to see a room she offered

Hoping  I would gain

a foothold into luxury

in a setting where the wild

was closer than I had been use to

up some stairs which could have riled

this child who felt  he was able

to just get anywhere

but this dear lass knew better

and dismissed him

for deep down she did care

a kindness born of  thoughtfulness

a softness emanation

she told me of a flat she owned

And, of its location

finding out I was sleeping rough

in the forest green

she pulled out all the stops for me

truly she serene

helped me out of a stressful state

by offering it to me

being kind and thoughtful

thats what Katie did you see

despite her woes and troubles

Her heart was truthfully

sanctioned by the beloved

and in essence she did see

another persons path was overgrown

and fit to be

a struggle, so she helped him

with her profound  constancy

So  from the wooded rigours

she saved my dignity

she offered me this splendid flat

and moved out

Seemingly

that honestly is magical

a realm one seldom spots

Going the extra mile for someone

really tells us lots.
