Slavery on UK Farms

Quietly it’s happening

in the UK

These fruit  farmers

know how to moan

but they pay

really  awfully

some of them they

employ gangmasters

and what they can say

is to threaten the workers

with sticks,  even some

on terrible wages

really a crumb
fruit picking’s hard

but at a really crappy rate

it amounts to slavery

which just isn’t great

Such  exploitation

and bullying too

the retailers get their share
Of course  that’s true

Farmers have got to be fair

and for sure

working hard all the day

of course pickers  need more.
