Clearly a lucrative commodity

profits were high for the few

jungles god made,  god created

time honoured  endowed it is true

with medicinal miracles

respite,  a system of creative force

torn down by ignorance and arrogance sadly

turned into a quagmire at source

animals sacrificed, trees they have to

been torn down and replaced

by Palm oil, it’s true

changing the landscape, creating a hell

from the heaven before

and a  huge sewerage smell

history created this vast  web of soul

replaced by the Palm oil

creating control

killing the balances

affecting all who

lived in the forests

as so many do

a huge population of the established

replaced

with vermin and worse still

it has to be faced

whole swathes of countryside

destroyed as we see

for profitable aims

and unorthodoxy

a vast equitable landscape

of animals and plants

Forests  as lush

it was all give and chance

a historic web of vast opportune

replaced by a cesspool

of vague  coming soon

a great sacrifice

of the Indigenous  races

animals birds insects galore

a huge panoply

of  historic gems

converted to Palm

and profitability.
