Dolgellau

The rugged stones a facing us

the narrow lanes to where

eyes might be now peering

sitting on a chai

walking through this lovely place

birds singing all the while

so many listed buildings here

yes mile after mile

cader Idris in the sky

peers down on the town

rivers flow

a wondrous show

of wild life

crouching low

all sorts of shops and cafes

bric a brack and more

absolutely beautiful sights

upon us they bestow

awelfa is above it all

from my window I

can see a heavenly outlook

with a large tear in each eye
