House building

House building’s down to Starmer

the freeby King of Kings

Who could learn much

from our wild birds

whose pre tuned brains

exhibit purposeful things

twigs and leaves and bark and mud

and construction that looks fine

and is well conducive

to the rearing of their young

outside in the wind and rain

on crowded branches hung

trilling sounds be evident

songs from long before

beautiful construction

talented and raw

up against the elements

wild flowers will adorn

the nest eggs and the best eggs

when their offspring

yes are born.
