spotted some DUCKS today on the River Windrush

In Bourton on the water
The Windrush by name
Lapping to the pavement
The very same
I noticed the females
Dipping their heads
Cleaning their eyes
Before they go to their beds
Also ducks do not have tear ducts
And so
Their eyes can get grit in them
When they realise
This is a problem
They dip their heads fast
Washing their
eyes out
In DUCK world it’s classed
As a real beauty feature
The ladies they tend
To learn how to do it
Sending Drakes round the bend
