It’s just 5 o’clock

Already it’s dark
It’s, New years Eve
And the idiots are out
Fireworks they believe
Are some celebration
Bangers so loud
Frightening wild life
With a massive shroud
Of gunpowder plot
Guy Fawkes and some more
Frightening let’ say
Their own little war

The Deers and the Foxes
The badgers
The Hares
Chickens and ducks
All of this scares
Innocent wild life
It frightens them so
Raises a heart beat
Which can honestly grow

To a hefty dimension
Shivers and pain
Out in the forest
Under such strain
The cordite the chemicals
Toxins and more
Animals hate them
And cannot ignore

New Year the bright lights
Stars in the sky
Rockets and big Roman candles
Thrown high
Crackles and hoots and explosive rings
All pets get frightened
A message it brings
To faint hearts and the soulfuls
Such ignorance reigns
All I can hope for
Is a shit load more brains.

From you all
