Experimentation day on day
Beautiful loyal canine tribes
Subjected to the pain
A way
Of realisation that dogs want mercy
Even Beagles their strength we know
Embattled embittered and treated badly
They still wag their tails
And seemingly show

A good disposition
In cages and out
Tortured and beaten
Left in no doubt
Manhandled by so called
Humans at work
Listen to the howling
It’s never a perk

It tortures the soul
Of those camped out, outside
We all hear the yelping
It’s never denied
Vile sad activity
Sent on their way
To be hurt and god knows what
Every day
