Little Gaddesden in the car park near Hudnall Lane

A swirl of leaves
Being added to, by
The odd passing car
And, Autumn a star
Performer on mornings
Where encouragingly
a blue sky
And, the sun turns the leaves
Beautifully

Rich red and golden
A Timely farewell
To a purposeful mother
As we slowly drift
In to the land of the fae
Like no other

A cool sun kissed echoing
Glistening dew
Diademic sunlight
Twinkle so true
With every breath
More falling leaves
Haversack jacks
Their spirit achieves
Hunching their backs
My eyesight believes
They are now in
the forest
Further they go
I remain in the car
