Local chicken sheds don’t be fooled

Humanity stinks
For there in me thinks
Genuine caring on a small scale
Would be happening
But it leaves me pale
Terrible cruelty every day
Behind closed doors
The chickens pay
A terrible price
And how do we feel
Seeing the evidence
Now for real
