Tree (in the morning)

The same tree
There it be
Waving in the wind
It’s key feature
Is it’s greenery
Dark olive with a light blue sky
Gade valley down below
Doth sigh
A gentle chalk stream
Flows along
Under the clouds

The birds have flown
To where they know
There is an abundance of food below
Lovely humans who leave out seed
And fruit to suit
Indeed indeed

It’s great boughs creak
It’s solid trunk
It’s at its peak
It hasn’t sunk
A stalwart figure
Breathing well
Sweet vibrations
It doth tell

Tonight it will just disappear
Go into itself
With all its cheer
Responsively it appears to fade
At its roots the delectable river Gade
