Jetster and the masons

Jetster likes the sunshine
He also likes the shade
Close to the lovely apple tree
Where the dragon someone made
Sits amongst the foliage
Ferns and leafy green
A family of Bee’s the Mason Bees
Yesterday were seen

They had burrowed into the
Wooden feet
Lots of leaves had piled
And there the Osmia had made their nest
weeding possibly riled
Their flying in and out a bit
And jetster seated there
Watched them tried to takethem
Just out of the air

A colony had clearly colonised
The place
Excellent pollinators
Sun worshippers such grace
And favour not so aggressive
Clearly in Spring they came
And by June will be forgotten
Lost in the portal flame

Cats are clearly curious
Batting away each time
Any that get up closer
A kind battle rhyme
A build up of dry leaves
Covering their door
It was good to observe them
On the dragon floor.
