Herb Robert

You will find it in the garden
Almost everywhere
It’s little pink flowers
Little showers of wonderment
They share
Flowers do leaves rubbed on the skin
And mosquitos tend to be
Far away from biting
That’s if you ask me

They don’t need very much soil
They will grow anywhere
Low growing Biennials
Edible to share
With salads simple greenery
Bees come by a lot
But I can’t say they have pollen
Whatever else they have got.

For sore throats and mouth ulcers
Gargle with the water
Personally I love them
Growing here and there
In old flower pots and most places
A foothold they can get
Bees come visit often
