Bear a hero was there

The bear was drowning
Imagine that
A dangerous critter
Where he was at
A hero saw it
And leapt into
The water to save him
Fighting through
An Unparalleled effort
Peerless and rare
Saved the creature
A wonderful bear
No fear apparent
Both so aware
