Tobacco

Tobacco in Argentina
Growers in a war
Glyphosate the Herbicide
So many did ignore
The false hopes and predictions
As vile as they could be
Misinterpretations
and denials tragically

The children have been damaged
Genetically replete
The chemical was awful
Mendaciously deceit
Into what was really happening
A ugly growing sin
Lots of trumped up stories
How to now begin

So much exaggeration
And mis information too
The government failed the people
So much wasn’t true
A sickness has befallen
The families and we see
The farmers in a nutshell
Involved in Slavery

Their unwillingness to carry on
Using all this crap
Genetically modified children
We’re now taking the rap
Fighting for a living
So much negativity
Family blight was everywhere
Affliction and indignity
